Established August 17, 2000, Vermont Alliance of Information & Referral Services (Vermont AIRS) is a statewide association of public and private organizations and individuals committed to the provision of accessible quality information and referral services in the State of Vermont.


Mission Statement:
The purpose of Vermont AIRS is to support professionals who provide information and referral (I&R) and information and assistance (I&A) services through training, advocacy and networking.


Vision:
All individuals and families in Vermont will have barrier-free access to quality information about health care, social services and other community programs.


What is I&R?
Information and Referral (I&R) is the art, science and practice of bringing people and services together. I&R is an integral part of the overall human services sector.
